Default Drinking/Eating All in one macro?

So, having a bunch of mages in my party, I always have food/water. However, at 70 there's a choice - the convenience of Manna Biscuits or the free of water. If I'm just playing for 30 minutes or less, it doesn't make sense to summon a table. I discovered (interestingly) that you can do this:

    /use Manna Biscuit

    /use Glacial Water

(not sure about the spelling, but whatever)

Here's what happens: If you have Manna Biscuit in your inventory it will show you the count - and you will consume one. If you have just Glacial Water in your inventory it will not show anything but a ? ... yet it will still drink just fine. If you have BOTH, it will use BOTH but only show the count of the Manna Biscuit.

There are several things I would like ... and I am not sure if any are possible. First, I would like it to show the count of either, depending on which is available. Second, I would like it to use the Biscuits only, unless I am out and then use the water. Note - you can also add in /use FOOD and eat/drink with one keypress.

    Thoughts?

Pro tip: Forget about mage water/drinks. Do the easiest SSO daily quests twice and you can use Naruu Rations. They are cheap, do not decay when offline and have the same effect as mana biscuits.

I use Autobar. I have one key bound to drink and another to eat, I also have the macro

    /click AutoBarButtonWaterFrame
    /click AutoBarButtonFoodFrame

Bound to a different button for each character. So I have the choice or all eat, all drink or one character can eat and drink. Then just configure autobar to pick the consumable you want in the order you want. Autobar will display counts.

This is off the top of my head so might need fiddling with:

#showtooltip [modifier:shift] Glacial Water; Manna Biscuit
/use [modifier:shift] Glacial Water; Manna Biscuit
    /use Manna Biscuit

This will use just one manna biscuit (testing required!) unless you hold down shift in which case it will use one water and one biscuit

I think that more complicated logic, like choosing what to eat/drink based on what you currently have, would require an addon

Can you use the "exists" function to cover this maybe?

/use [exists] Mana Biscuits, Conjured Glacier Water

Munchies is the ADDon what you search...

Replaces consumables on your action bar with the best/cheapest available. Including zone/BG specific items such as Bottled Nethergon Energy. Should work with most locales, and all bar mods which make use of buttonid's.
