Blizzcon 2008 Costumes

Do any of you have plans to wear costumes at Blizzcon? If so, share your ideas!


I've been apprehensive to post my costume idea for fear of anyone else using it as well, but I'm pretty excited about it so I'll go ahead and share it with you all:

I've been pretty into making costumes in the past. I've sowed a few outfits before including a full bear jumpsuit, a complicated reaper, and a stick figure outfit (did that with glowing wire and wearing all black). For Blizzcon I've been brainstorming ideas on how I can create a multiboxing costume.. my first idea was to attach 4 boxes following me, which is good for a laugh ("lol, multiple 'box'er"). However a friend of mine linked me a video which inspired me. The video was deleted due to copyright, but basically the guy did a YMCA dancing routine with a 4 dummy rig. Check out this pic:



I'm going to be doing that as 5 orc shamans. It'll be alot of work, but I'll have alot of fun doing it. It solves a major problem I was facing, and that's trying to fit in doorways. Also I'm pretty sure I could do the orc male dance in that rig, too, which would be a hoot. Now if only I could afford 5 multiboxing t-shirts for all the dummies, I could rock that one of the days. Haha. It's an idea. On second thought, maybe creating this kind of buzz/presence is going to bring multi-boxing even more into the forefront of debate and trash talking, so an in-your-face "solo is the new gimp" t-shirt might not be the best face to show the community! Hmm.

Anyway, I hope nobody else was planning on doing that costume, 'cuz I plan on entering the costume and dancing contests with it! Wish me luck!

I want to go this year, and dress up as a gold farmer from Nhyms "Ni Hao, Gold Farmer's Story" video. I'd walk out on stage, and hold up a sign that says "Ni Hao! Gold cheap! 3000g=23.47$ ! www.goldspammur.(om!" or something to that affect.

I am happy to announce that I will be at Blizzcon this year, and I will be sporting my multi-boxing shaman costume. If you see me there come say hi! (My name tag will read Majo from Deathwing US).

I am looking forward to seeing the multiboxer(s) costume. This can end in nothing but lols.

I don't know how techincally possible this is.... keep the two sets of extra's covered by boxes, then get someone to take them off just as you are about to dance.

Doubly effective and will certainly get a laugh from the crowd if all 5 of you look the same.
