Default [WoW] Leveling Guide for multiboxers?

Is there anything like the Brian Kopp or Joana guide to leveling modified for multiboxers? I'd love to have some sort of a reference. Or does anyone know of a guide that I can modify (take out gathering quests, except for certain ones with questlines, insert a few extra instance runs as a group, etc)

It definately could be put on the wiki.

I found this guide on wow-pro.com . It works in conjunction with Jame's Guide. It is currently only for Horde.

Personally, I found it to be ok, but nothing spectacular. It has helped give me an idea when to head to a different instance, but i tend do ignore his questing recommendations. Worth checking out I suppose.

Quest helper addon works really well. I use a guide to tell me basic areas that I need to go, grab all the quests, and then let quest helper do it from there.

If your horde, your best bet is to get Joanas guide (it IS worth the money to buy), but skip the bad collection quests. Suplament the collection quest lost xp with some instance runs. Sav mentioned this in his guide, and on my second two 5 box teams, I found him to be 100% correct. I would also use Quest Helper add on, along with the tom tom, and Cartographer add ons. It's helpful, but only on one toon, its a resorce hog, and I suspect has a memory leak. From my experience, if more then three of my toons use Quest Helper on one machine the lag is bad. I may how ever just be configuring it wrong. (I would love sugestions on this)

I also suggest vyndes' guide on this sight and Savs' brain dump guide. Both are really full of good info to speed up your over all process. Zog I think it is also has a nice mod that allowes you to get quests on all your mb toons by following the chat selection you choose on one.

Orc Female Shaman (ele) Team - Aarrinah (S80), Barrinah (S80), Carrinah (S80), Darrinah (S80), Earrinah (S80)
Undead Death Knight Team: Ahriness (DK 80), x4 level 73 working toward 80.
Blood Elf Paladin Team: Ahri (80), Bhri (36), Chrii (36), Dhri (36), Palaadin (65)

I follow Joana's guide but it's not that good for multiboxing because he skips a bunch of quests that are easy to do when multiboxing.

The real problem lies in that there are some collection quests that you really should do, even though they're a big drag - e.g. the ones in the shimmering flats - as they are the start of long quest chains. Joana's guide is overly focused on a solo speed run to 70 without exploring any content that's even slightly to the side - e.g. instances

As an alliance player I followed the Jamie's Alliance Levelling guide on wow-pro.com. (though I know most of the quests already, I just used it as a reference on where I should go if I was running out of quests...)

Everytime I hit a collection quest (especially in Outlands) I would look it up on wowhead.com and decide wether I would do it or not based on the following criteria :
    - Amount of follow ups and wether they involve more collection quests or not
    - The reward of the specific quest or the follow ups
    - The amount of mobs and wether they are spaced out or not
    - Skim through the comments to get an idea of the droprate

Obviously if a collection quest has a good droprate with alot of mobs, has alot of easy kill x mobs followups with an elite at the end of the chain which gives you a great new item, I would do the quest. If not, just skip it and move on.

Worked fine in combination with the Jamie Alliance Levelling guide. I ended up doing some collection quests, though skipping most of them.

Use his refrence version, it includes lots more quests, that he normally skips, but tracks any way. It might be some more help. Gives a lot more quests imho.

In my honest opinion the best thing to do would be get Joana's or Kopp's guide (I have both) and use them to level a couple toons to 70. Get a feel of what quest have high drop rates and which quest have drop rates that suck and skip those.

Honestly though if you are boxing under RAF you can pretty much just get away with doing straight out kill quest with the very occasional collection quest. Collection quest are and will always be the bane of our existance. They aren't that bad if you are 2 or even 3 boxing but they are (poke your eyes out) terrible if you quad or penta box.
Pillage 80 Human DK, Kasini 71 NE Druid, Lato 71 BE Mage, Kawmisir 70 BE Pally, Akinta 65 NE Hunter, Raco 61 Dranei Shaman on Ravencrest Multibox Projects: 3 Elem Shaman / 2 Moonkin and group 2 is 4 Affliction Locks / 1 Holy Priest

enormous waste of time... although you would know the quests better the second time around, it would not make it worth spending 10-20 days /played just to find the best multiboxing quests

    just RAF it
