Bring on The Avengers!
Hmm...I don't know that I would say it was the best super hero movie I had ever seen but it was good for sure and definitely worth going to see. And yes Robert Downey Jr. did an awesome job, although I've been a fan of his ever since "Johnny Be Good".
EDIT: WAIT TILL THE END OF THE CREDITS!!!
Crap, didn't wait till the end of the credits, please god pm me what happened.
Really enjoyed the movie, very rarely do I have nothing bad to say bout a film, but it really managed to mesh everything together well. Definately buying it on blu ray if it is released![]()

It was good, but not overall "kick ass" in my opinion. Although the special effects were definitely kick ass and I really enjoyed the movie.
"V for Vendetta" is still my favorite action hero movie.
Ken, did you read warrior?

This is definitely the best marvel superhero movie to come out yet. I never read Ironman comics or anything but it was true to the little I do know about him. RDJ was a perfect Tony Stark, very funny... and a fairbit of hot tail was thrown in there too.
Jon Favreau really nailed it this time, wish he did movies like The Punisher or Ghost Rider. Some of those anti-hero stories would have been very entertaining if they were done right.
Damn it! My wife said there may be something at the end and I said nah.. you have to tell me what I missed.Originally Posted by 'Khazrael',index.php?page=Thread&postID=59920#post 59920

I really enjoyed the film, didn't know any of the back story before watching it, but I thought it was a good movie. Can't wait to see more (and I'll have to tell my bf about the extra part - maybe we can go and see it again).
In case you missed the scene after the credits:
Tony Stark returns home after the press conference and you see Samuel L Jackson in his house staring out the window overlooking the ocean. He turns around and you see him with an eyepatch and he tells Tony "My name is Nick Fury. I am the leader of SHIELD and I want to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative." (or something to that effect)
