Default How do I target a players pet via macro?

    Hey guys,

I have a problem that I'm hoping I didn't fuck myself up with

All of my hunters have pets with the same name as themselves. Example: Evilseedia has a pet named Evilseedia

How can I have a macro target my players pet?

    Thanks

What do you need to target your player's pet for?
There's a binding for targeting a party member's pet in the blizzard default bindings..
target pet: shift-F1, target party pet 1: Shift-F2, target party pet 2: Shift-F3 and so on and so on.. so if you can get the same group composition everytime.. if you are multiboxing that is.. just bind those keys to the correct keys you want.. can probably do whatever it is you are trying to do with those.

    To heal of course.

The reason why I need to do it by name is because a persons party position changes quite often. Lots of things can lead to different placement in a party.

As far as the SHIFT+f2 or whatever, that might work, but we need to turn it from another keystroke into something macroable. So for example, I could do a /target Hunter1 and then do that command to target his pet. So what is the typable command to target a target's pet? That is the key! Any idea?

Hmm.. don't think there is a command to target a target's pet.. you could try using the player's target pet with the binding or on the main char then the heal just assist the hunter and it will heal the pet.. May i recommend from now on using an Alt char in the pet's name if you want to look exactly the same so you don't get this problemo? lol
