    Default ground-target AOE question

I am having issues trying to create a ground-target AOE without using repeater. It seems that I cannot get my extra mouse buttons(WoW MMO mouse) to be recognized even with the suggestions that should make it work. I was wondering if there was some kind of back door to make it work such as using a macro/spell instead of a key click?

You can use either of two parameter in a macro to semi-auto cast ground target spells.

    /cast [@player] Flamestrike
... will cast it centered on the mage.

    /cast [@cursor] Flamestrike
... willst cast it centered, wherever the mouse cursor is currently.

There's a third option that can be realised with ISBoxer to actually place it where you want, explained here:

Default ISboxer AOE ground targeting mouse bind key click problem

It seems as if mouse buttons beyond mouse button 5 are not recognized even though I am using drivers and software for my mouse as talked about with this problem listed here:
    https://isboxer.com/wiki/FAQ#Why_are...not_working.3F

Anyone have any ideas or troubleshooting as of how to get ISboxer to recognize my mouse buttons beyond mouse button 5?

Is there a way to bind it to an action bar number instead of a key click or macro?

I was wondering if I can add you to battle.net for our communication to be more effective and fluid. I am a new ISBoxer user and I really need your help.

.....which is why it takes aaages to learn this software. Even aften all these years, im still learning new things every so often.

With effort...lots of time...and trial and error...comes knowledge... getting stuff shown to you = gets shot right over your head and you very rarely actually learn/understood how it worked = you will be in major trouble the next time you want to do similar things..

The isboxer wiki pages are very good https://isboxer.com/wiki/Main_Page + you can use the many guides over on https://www.youtube.com/user/Multiboxology

Is the mouse software running as adminstrator?

Is the mouse software sending those mouse keys natively, or have you set up some translations in that software already?

Also run the testing script https://isboxer.com/wiki/Input:Testing_Buttons

ISBoxer supports very many devices, what is your device model? If it really isn't supported you can get the device added by following instructions here https://isboxer.com/wiki/Input:Testing_Buttons

I understand your frustration, but that defeats the purpose of having a forum; I can't list the number of times I've learned something here that someone else asked and another person answered. I didn't even know I had that question. Ask away, and we'll try to help you - and create knowledge and content for others as well.
