Default Wep-A-Mole /// Overhauling a minimalistic, clean DMMMP-UI with TellMeWhen, Grid2, ElvUI (Work in Progress)

    Hey fellow boxers!

I got some requests from Discord to share my UI and to give a little walkthrough how to set up things here in the forum. As there are quite a lot of screenshots involved i decided to put it in a slightly different format than you might be used to, a google slide :> I continue to work on that file, at the moment it is more of a sketch without a proper structure, but i *think* you can already walk along it and hopefully get some inspirations.

Also let me know if you had any problems following, would like to see something covered, found an annoying typo, whatever :D

It's worth noting that i made all that stuff based on a resolution of 1920x1080. I run my main client fullscreen and have the toons attached to a second monitor on the side. In my case ELvUI is set to a scale of 0.6. You will need to tweak my export strings f you use a different setup!

    My Discord nick is @Wep

I want to give credit to a multitude of people on the forums here and on discord!
First of all Matricus who helped me a metric ton with understanding some ISB concepts, of course MiRai with all his awesome tutorials, "the-guy-mentioned-on-slide-8" for the macro sets*, awesome work! Biggcarl for pointing me in the direction of this setup, the project name here is totally inspired by Nodoze... well... there are so many others.

*apparently its from Beeq and here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qa2ai6v9pa...osets.txt?dl=1

    Thanks!

I just started to do a (propably lengthy, hopefully detailed) series of videos about my current setup. Hopefully it can help someone.

Also, one of those character names is not like the rest.
Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.
Ask your questions on the forum where others can also benefit from the information.

Yeah, put some salt in that wound. I sometimes dream about that issue.

    Seems we've vastly different dreams.

on topic: For me a bit too much stuff on the screen but I'm more a minimalist as you know.

Especially the quickbars. You say yourself that you moved pretty much everything into ISB directly, so why keeping out 4+ mostly empty bars?

    Cheers,

It's true. It's a bit hard to let go, but I guess at least 2 action bars can go. There's also some redundant TMW buttons, I think I don't really need that much cooldown monitors on the lower left. That's more or less some leftover of how things evolved

Innervate and Rebirth CDs can be seen in my Buffbars, Counterspell is already in the "CC Section" on top... The only ones I really look at are Nova/CoC, Innervate, Cold Snap, Evocation and Inner Focus/Power Infusion. I guess I will move those somewhere in the Buff Bar Region as well, propably redesigning the "Last Cast" Button a bit. I never press them anyway, the menu on top is just giving me the opportunity to do so. The vital thing is knowing the CD.

    Good Point you made there!

I suspect I will declutter the thing further while playing and get to know what I use and what I don't use

I did setup CDs via TMW recently... and ended up with 4 per toon.
Multiple TMW profiles to work with different specs (Arcane-Fire currently) and Pala/Warrior mix.

IMO cooldowns not being worth tracking:
Cone of Cold (no real CD)
    Fire Blast (no real CD)
    Fear Ward (no real CD)
Mana stones / potions in general (if you need them, they are ready; if you need them every pull you're doing sth wrong )
    Single Taunt

    Cheers,
    Matricus
