Default Multibox 5 accounts using recruit a friend

    Hello guys.
im looking to start bfa shortly. I read about the recruit a friend system and i would like go benefit from it. Im gonna buy 5 accounts with bfa and would like to do so using raf.
is it possible to buy 1 account and recruit 4 more under the same battlenet account or so i have go create 5 different accounts?

my question is basically if the following would work with raf and rewards

    buy bfa
recruit 4 new wow accounts under the same battlenet account

Iam going to 5 box and i would find it somewhat of a Hassle having 5 different emails to checkup on

    help much approiciated

    /lobbery

My hope is to start this raf adventure tonight using 5 accounts.
if someone would be so kind and let me know how to do it in steps Im super grateful. Optimal i would love all 5 wow accounts under the same bnet. If that is not possible Im willing to do what it takes.

    thanks

Yes, that is how it has always worked. The Blizzard support article says you can recruit up to 10 accounts (per WoW license).

Under one bnet account, Start one WoW account and then recruit 4 more WoW accounts to that same bnet account.
    Create WoW1
    WoW1 RaF WoW2
    WoW1 RaF WoW3
    WoW1 RaF WoW4
    WoW1 RaF WoW5

Bnet accounts max at 8 total WoW accounts.

There are other methods to chain link RaF accounts, but this is the simplest way for a fresh set of 5.

When logging into the game, all accounts will share the same email/account name and password, but will be differentiated by sub account names (WoW1, WoW2 ect.) You'll only have to set this once. Authenticating is easiest with the phone ap, once it's synced you rarely have to use it. Using the physical authenticator keychains requires a clumsy process entering the code 1 by 1 for each sub account taking several minutes.

I'm planning to create new 4 Bnet accounts and wondering if this will happen on the 2nd month

    Bnet 5 - pays $15 sub
Bnet 4 - receives free sub
Bnet 3 - receives free sub
Bnet 2 - receives free sub
Bnet 1 - receives free sub

it all depends on how you link your RaFs. I'll try my best to explain.

RaF rewards are WoW account based, separating Bnets is kind of irrelevant to the RaF system but i did want to point out that separate Bnet accounts wont share account-wide things like cosmetics and mounts ect, so it's generally a bad idea to use separate Bnet accounts unless you dont care about account-wide sharing. I say this because many of the RaF rewards are account-wide shared cosmetics, and you might not get to use them on some of the RaFed Bnet accounts depending on how you chain link recruit them. Only the recruiter gets the reward. BUT on a single Bnet account all account-wide stuff is shared and your RaFed accounts will get the cosmetics and mounts even though they didnt themselves earn them.
Phew, i hope that was clear, if not please ask.

Now for the different ways to RaF accounts, regardless of Bnet accounts, it goes like this.
Main account recruits sub account, only the main account gets the reward. So on month 2 the Main account would get 1 month free subscription when the sub account pays it's own subscription.
    e.g
    Main account free month
    Sub account pays $15 sub

Now it gets semi complicated when dealing with several accounts because reward months advance for every paid sub account. You dont collect several of the same month reward on 1 main account, but rather progress to the next reward.
    e.g
    Main account RaFs WoW2
    Main account RaFs WoW3
    Main account RaFs WoW4
    Main account RaFs WoW5

-in this example after the 1st month-
    WoW2 pays monthly sub
    WoW3 pays monthly sub
    WoW4 pays monthly sub
    WoW5 pays monthly sub
Main account receives 1st month reward, 2nd month reward, 3rd month reward, 4th month reward
(monthly rewards are 1st month Rikki pet, 2nd month 30 days gametime, 3rd month Explorer mount, 4th month Title Renowned explorer) These are all account-wide.

-in this example after the 2nd month-
    WoW2 pays monthly sub
    WoW3 pays monthly sub
    WoW4 pays monthly sub
    WoW5 pays monthly sub
Main account receives 5th month reward, 6th month reward, 7th month reward, 8th month reward
and so on until you reach the 12th month reward and from there your main account will get a Free month for every 3 paid recruited subs. If all of your accounts are on the same Bnet account, then every account will share all the account-wide RaF rewards and have everything by month 3.

******Now if you daisy chain the accounts differently*******
    e.g
    Main account RaFs WoW2
    WoW2 RaFs WoW3
    WoW3 RaFs WoW4
    WoW4 RaFs WoW5

-in this example after the 1st month-
Main account pays monthly sub and receives 1st month reward
WoW2 pays monthly sub and receives 1st month reward
WoW3 pays monthly sub and receives 1st month reward
WoW4 pays monthly sub and receives 1st month reward
    WoW5 pays monthly sub
(if these accounts are all on separate Bnet account than only WoW5 will not get any RaF rewards)

-After month 2 the rewards would be as follows-
Main account receives 2nd month reward free month sub
WoW2 pays monthly sub and receives 2nd month reward free month sub (applies next month)
WoW3 pays monthly sub and receives 2nd month reward free month sub (applies next month)
WoW4 pays monthly sub and receives 2nd month reward free month sub (applies next month)
    WoW5 pays monthly sub

-After month 3 the rewards would be as follows-
I am not 100% sure how it will be this time around and i havent researched it enough to know, but as far as i know, Free month rewards did not count towards adding another RaF reward to the recruiting account. So my best guess at month 3 rewards in the example of chained accounts would be as such.
    e.g
    Main account pays monthly sub
    WoW2 free month sub
    WoW3 free month sub
    WoW4 free month sub
    WoW5 pays monthly sub

-After month 4 the rewards would be as follows-
    Reward process should resume
    e.g
Main account receives 3rd month reward mount
WoW2 pays monthly sub and receives 3rd month reward mount
WoW3 pays monthly sub and receives 3rd month reward mount
WoW4 pays monthly sub and receives 3rd month reward mount
    WoW5 pays monthly sub

Not the best way to go about it imo unless you have to do separate Bnet accounts.

@Purpleflavor thank you so much for this information. I will do 1 new BNet account since my current is already full. I will go with the daisy chain to maximize the free month sub.

grats on your new team, "daisy chain to maximize the free month sub" on the same bnet is the best way to get the most out of it in the long term and to make sure you dont end up stacking tons of free months on just 1 account.

I was going to suggest moving enough WoW accounts to a new 2nd bnet to leave your main wow account on your main bnet account, but also opening room for 4 fresh wow accounts on your main account, so that you can maintain all of your accountwide collections. That's what i just did. They did mess up and delete/block my access to my main account accidentally, scary but they fixed it.

I dont have much experience with playing on multiple servers, probably get a better answer opening a whole new topic for those that do to see.

My thoughts are that you cant trade gold and a lot of things across different servers so it wouldnt be much different than just rolling multiple teams on different servers and not being able to share the gold, though there are costly and difficult ways to make it work that are probably not worth the effort.

I do know non-boxers that use characters on several different servers to mass sell things like Sky gollem mounts and such, that way they can sell mmany more per day without flooding a single AH market, but i dont know how they would consolidate all their gold without paying for server transfers.
