good to see someone takes the ele path, I play my single shaman ele aswell atm (60) and its pretty broken in pvp because elemental mastery affects lightning cast+shock so you do chainlight earth shock 100% crit killer combos for 2,6k burst (that costs you zero mana) that oneshots most people on 1 shaman (I run in 130 spellpower gear/no spelldmg trinket). You can also hold up with mage/lock dps in 5 man dungeons (with 3/3 in fire totems), it just sucks in raids because of no mana reg/resist. Imo 5 ele is a solid team for the 5man content and pvp later. And grounding totem is much better than in later expansions because it pulses like tremor, if you get cs/polymorph/fear any spell that doesnt do dmg, the totem wont get destroyed and 3-5 sec later you get the grounding buff again from that same totem.

Wow shamans are actually way more powerful on Classic then they were on private servers, I think these changes put them ahead of warlocks for wpvp since they have superior on demand burst and are almost immune to cc when stacked, I just might make a team of 4 shamans, use one shammy as a dungeon tank and throw in a mage for cc and free water, or even another shaman.

I'm currently leveling 10 Enhancement Shamans, (level 33, less than 4 days /played). It's been a blast. They are really fun and devastating in PvP. The Tremor Totem completely removes Priest's fear AoE, since they only fear up to 5 targets, so I just cast it when half of my toons start running away. Also it has no cooldown, unlike WOTF.. It's really handy and once you negate their CC there really is nothing they can do. Shocks deal 1000+ dmg with the press of a button, Chainlightning 2000+ (not counting crits, wich happens a lot when using 10 toons). I'm able to 1-shot anyone higher 10-15 levels than me.
Melee fights are a joke; with parry, dodge, shields and windfury there is no way my dudes are going down while outputting all that damage in the meantime.

Will probably switch to elemental at cap, or a bit sooner, we'll see.

I went to a pug mc raid today as elemental to fact check ele dps and I was doing 313 dps on the magmadar fight (no flask, a mana potion and mostly brd spelldmg gear +jed trinket, no +hit gear just 3% from talents). If you bring mana potion for every boss fight and flask, I can guarantee you that bringing a few elemental shamans is viable for raid dps in the sense of you will get things cleared, just a little slower. The most important thing there is fast decursing and giving the tank 10 seconds to build up aggro. Of course the more warriors/mages you bring, the easier things get....but I dont see a problem right now of bringing a 5 ele boxer to a raid...maybe not 20.

I think the best argument for bringing ele is to have totem support in groups without having another healer, as priests are prefered due to magic dispel and better healing. And certainly, ele dps is much better than enhancement and you can heal if necessary in that gear.

I'm hoping that BC comes out and have 5 ready I also started new team on another server. 10 Ele Shamans, Level 12 ATM. Taking it slow.

I'm only 1 bar away from 37 on my 5x shamans, 10, is so much time consuming

I love it. I love the totems, self heal, can't wait for chain heal. I could do way more dmg but they run out of mana fast if i burst. IT's still my favorite team and at 40 you get mail, so even less squishy.

how are you leveling shamans? dungeon runs as ench and questing? I have a bit of a hard time as i started 10 as well

My main is herb/alch. to make mana pots, I can't wait for chain heals at 43Ish. BUT i think each shaman should have engineering with rockets.
I'm only 37 on my 5x shamans, time is limited and 10x takes twice as long for me now as i gain rest xp on another server with 5 i just hop on 10x on another server and just keep rotating, i think ench is nice in WPvP , i do prefer elementals, I like the range but for instance runs i think ench is better
