    Default Most efficient dungeon leveling progression order?

    Hi guys,

    Im slowly leveling through dungeons. Im still at stockades on my alliance team and at SFK on my horde team. What would be the best dungeon progression order for both horde and ally? I think this thread would be a great help for noobs like me. Thanks in advance!

    The Dungeons tab on my 'Classic WoW Planning' Spreadsheet has an amalgamation of multiple people's input on this topic from various threads in this Forum as well as input from the Hakurai's Melee Cleave Dungeon progression guide:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

    The HA column denotes whether it is usually for Horde or Alliance (or either).

    There are links to the original sources and links to the maps and detailed guides.

    The rStart & rEnd are the recommended start & stop grinding levels though that varies from recommender to recommender so I tried to pick what seemed to be the most consistent recommendation. In most cases I would recommend you grind the area you are in until the mobs are going grey...

    The aStart & aEnd are for me to track my actual start/stop points (which didn't necessarily match the recommended start/stop points). You are welcome to make a copy of this spreadsheet and use it track your actual progression and experiences and adjust to suit your needs (even if you just delete my entries in aStart/aEnd to put your own).

    If there is anything in there that you disagree with or think is glaringly wrong please let me know and I will do my best to update it.

    That's quite a spiffy spreadsheet you got goin there. I will say that I tried to hit Mara at 47 on my 5x enhancement shaman crew and there's no way that it's viable for me yet. Just the first lasher had me almost needing to drink. Even ZF right now is a bit high to be super efficient. Uldaman was OK. Capped out Cathedral for the most part, lots of grays in the beginning now. Where do you recommend that I go? Stick it out in ZF?

    if you got mounts on all yours guys there is a way to skip all the annoying mobs and go straight to zombies. i would suggest just grinding those and maybe back track to scarabs then reset. I did ZF to 53 grinding just zombies and the event near the end of my levels. Could of even stayed until 54, but I went to BRD to start on some gear.

    your team comps would help to suggest level brackets of dungeons.

    The following are some videos that show them riding past most things and then getting on a ledge or something to Line of Sight & reset the mobs so they can just focus on the zombies:

    Preraid BiS gear comes from quests or drops that can be farmed from level 50-ish.

    You not only want to look at your XP/h but also where you can find upgrades. Farming those while you're leveling will save you time in the long run.

    Agreed.

    I documented both pre-Raid (preR) Best in Slot (BiS) gear and relatively easy to obtain alternatives that you should work on between 50-60 in my spreadsheet on tabs as follows:

    - Class.... : Spreadsheet Tab;
    - Warriors: 'Warrior PVE preR BiS' (has gear options for both Horde & Alliance);
    - Paladins: 'Paladin PVE preR BiS' (Alliance only);

    For Warriors there are also Pre-Raid BiS tabs for each content patch level that is planned to be released:

    -Phase 1 (1.2x): 'Warrior PVE preR';
    -Phase 2 (1.4): 'w1.4 PVP';
    -Phase 3 (1.6): 'w1.4 PVP';
    -Phase 4 (1.8): 'w1.8 PVP';
    -Phase 5 (1.10): 'w1.10 PVP';
    -
    Phase 6 (1.12): 'w1.2 PVE';

    Multiple of the best items are from 10man raids so having relatively easy to obtain alternatives was helpful for me and putting it into a spreadsheet allowed me to list the alternate sources for easy reference. Spreadsheet form also lets me track progress when I obtain an item on each character.

    I also put a blank template out there for other classes on a tab named 'TEMPLATE preR BiS'. I used that to create a tab for my 'Druid Flag Runner preR' but haven't filled that out yet as I don't need my Flag Runner until Phase 3. People are welcome to make a copy of the entire spreadsheet including that tab and use it to do something similar to what I did (but for their class). There are lots of lists of BiS gear out there for class/role but most of them are just simple lists in web page form and I think spreadsheet form allows for both the listing of sources and alternates as well as actual progress tracking.

    Note that if you do make one in that format for a new class please link me a copy and I will add it to the master spreadsheet...

    Thank you both. I haven't invested in mounts yet, though I do have the gold to do so. May be worth it as being able to chain farm zombies like that would be a much more enjoyable experience for me than trudging through the packs of 3-4 up until them.
