Default SWWWW vs PWWWW vs PPWWW vs SSHHH for Strath Live farming?

Leveling 5 toons is a big investment, so i really want to get my comp correct first time around.

My main goal is to farm Strath Live for orbs as quickly and efficiently as possible.

SWWWW would obviously have the highest potential DPS, but shamans are also significantly weaker healers than Paladins and likely have to drink a lot... but also the pulls would be over quicker.

I'm unsure if having 2 holy paladins for double buffs would make things more efficient than having just 1? You'd likely never have to drink, but the lack of 4th DPS would still slow things down.

Really looking for some guidance here! D:

I've also seen the suggestion of SSHHH due to chain heal working on pets.

I am pretty sure for many reasons that Priest + 4 Warlocks is best (primarily due to AoE healing on 9 targets). I suspect that Shaman+4 Warlocks is second best due to Chain Heal options. I would put Paladin last.

Note that I am a huge Paladin fan and main a Paladin so I am not biased against them.

The key question is whether a single Shaman will have to regularly drink slowing the 4 Warriors down when farming... Maybe someone actually running a Shaman+Warriors group can chime in with their actual experience but in case we don't get a reply I will denote a few things for your consideration.

Healing-wise behind a Melee-Cleave group, the following are the most efficient healers:
    • - Priest: situationally assuming you feed the Priest a killing blow every 15 seconds so they can max the 'Spirit Tap' talent with 'Meditation'. If your goal is most efficient farming and you can keep your warriors from getting the killing blows at least periodically then this may be your best bet. Personally as a multiboxer I don't want to deal with that.
    • - Paladin: non-situationally the most mana-efficient healer due to Illumination (no need to feed killing blows). This should be the closest to non-stop buzz-sawing (assuming the healer is the weak link needing to drink periodically) just executing things (letting the Warriors take killing blows).

Wind-Fury gives a DPS edge though most phases though in the later phases there are arguments that Improved Might+Kings scales so well with the top gear that in Phase 4-5 it at least balances out or maybe even tips DPS races to Alliance.

4 Warriors should be the most DPS and the 3W+2P is more of a redundant healer approach for WPVP (and for those like my brother and I who want 2 main Paladins ASAP from one team). The 3W+2P isn't 25% less DPS than 4W+1P because the 2nd Paladin brings another Aura/Buff/Seal & is DPSing some but it is still significantly less DPS than 4Warriors. While leveling, especially on new dungeons where I am barely the right level range, I am often grateful for 2 Healers as sometimes damage is too high and/or a Healer dies but this should be much less of an issue once at max level and I have all the main dungeons memorized...

Once my team is fully geared such that healing is easy on even just 1 healer I would love to have a 4th Warrior for more farming efficiency but am not sure if/when I will level another team to cap to be able to swap out 1 Paladin for a 4th Warrior for Dungeon grinding so I may just stay 3+2...

I'm betting on SWWWW but it's very slow going in the lower levels as you really don't have a lot of useful AoE.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

That is likely a safe bet till at least Phase 4 or 5 and by then it likely doesn't matter that much anymore anyway.

2 Healers help for awhile and make things more forgiving but are likely a waste at cap if your only/main goal is PVE dungeon grinding efficiency. I am thinking I will want a 4th Warrior as some point though I don't know if I will be up for leveling a 2nd team with any melee...

Hand of Justice + Windfury (improved) + Sword Specc + Sweeping Strikes> Iwin button in Pve. Especially with some gimmicky stuff such as 4x ravagers/ weapons that procc things. Even without sword specc, demolish would happen at level extraordinare if you had Bonereaver's edge/Ashkandi etc... Also, the shaman would run this specc:

You seem to know a bit about this. Have you run this comp before?

My arms warriors are super freaking rage starved at the moment, it feels wrong delaying whirlwind to get the rage for sweeping strikes.

Hopefully rage is a lot easier to come by at 60.

Charge into sweeping strikes, then WW.
