I dont think a lot of the dungeon quests work when you turn it into a raid group. Can someone confirm this?

Quest don`t work and you lose out of some gear on 1 of the team - don`t know how the xp are going to be - but the run would be easyer/faster - could be a fast way to level, if you have more than 5 account.

It may be a lazy way to level if you have more than five accounts, but everyone seems to be saying that XP, while in a raid group, is abysmal, so I'm not sure how fast it'd be.

Of course, anyone is welcome to try it out now that it's been changed.

    - or if you struggle with a boss - gear is sometimes better than xp

Would this allow the passing of gear that drops to other characters that aren't in the group at the beginning of the instance? In other words, I would start the dungeon run with my 5-box group. We kill a boss who drops a piece of gear that none of us needs. Can I invite a sixth person to the second group, summon them with a warlock, have them grab the piece, then kick them out?

Sorry if this is obvious. I haven't played WoW in about 12 years, so I don't remember how these dynamics work.

Think about it from a 5-man perspective: After the boss dies, you kick one of the five players out of the party, invite a new fifth, and they get to loot.

    Can you do that? No.

I didn’t bother calculating exactly how much worse xp from kills are in a 10 man vs a 5 man but I tried it on the stress test and it definitely is quite a bit less than half of 5 man xp. Seemed that the xp is split 10 ways without the 1.4x modifier that 5 man groups get. That being said, I’ll still try it out on classic to see if the kill speed makes it worth it in the super dense dungeons since I need to level a 40 box lol.

Would be interested in how you go as I have a couple of IRL friends that will want to drop in on my dungeons grinds at some points
