    Default Faster Auto-Loot

I have been trying out various addons lately and found a QoL type addon that has an amazing option.

Faster auto loot: If checked the amount of time required to auto loot mobs will be significantly reduced.

Its from an addon called Leatrix Plus. Though probably any addon with that option will work, this is just one I found.

And oh my goodness it works absolutely amazing. No more IwT and jumping or spamming lootarang and acceptloot macros. It just automatically does all that somehow and everyone loots with just one try.

Maybe Ebony or another addon author can look through and see how it does that. With this addon I no longer need any looting tricks with isBoxer.

As you say, there are several add-ons that accomplish this:

    Leatrix Plus (linked above)
    fasterloot
    bobsfastloot
LootAssist (by Jabberie | also stickied in this forum)
    JAMBA (see below)

JAMBA already has this feature built into it. I don't have the exact option to enable sitting in front of me, but it's in the section for looting.

I also have a video on all of this:

Out of all of those I've found bobFastLoot to be the most performant. Leatrix Plus crashes my master if I have a full inventory or hit my IWT target before it's done closing the loot window when trying to loot quest items. JAMBAs advanced loot has similar problems though it's less frequent. bobFastLoot is also just a lot faster, at least with my setup. I could have conflicting addons elsewhere or it could just be that a standalone option works better in this regard.

Its such a frustrating chore to update my UI. I should have left it like it was, its been working fine unchanged for the last few years.

FasterLoot is one of the best autolooting addons. If you get interrupted while looting, you will get an error from FasterLoot, but u will surely loot the items. While all the other addons won't loot the items if you get interrupted.

Hey, as MiRai said jamba does have something basicy the same most of the addons just loop looting until all the items are "gone".

Jamba avd loot used to check the items, to see if that item was on a white list, so only bubbles would pick up all BoE items, But as Legion kinda massed this up making personnel loot on all mobs i did keep it in on legion as you could set older dungeons to FFA still. but since the new levelling scaling that has been removed as well. Even was in "old" raids i know this was hotfixed a little but still it does not work like it did. making a lot of this pointless.

really atm all you want do is use the top 3 box's

1st box turns off auto-loot - and uses the loop system.
2nd will toggle the blizzard Autoloot on (as jamba auto loot only currently works in a group.)
3nd box, will try and close the loot box, not sure if its needed or not..

The Plan going forward is to remove this module and the top options* will be coded in somewhere else. the problem i find a lot of the other addons use the server check to see if there "loot" and this can lead to dcs.

Can you elaborate on what "get interrupted" means?

Or i sometimes get errors like "You don't have permission to loot that corpse." while looting something from multiple chars at the same time.

Well, I can tell you from experience that bobfastloot is not affected by either of those error messages (it's what I personally use), and I doubt that JAMBA or LootAssist are affected by them either, as I'm pretty sure that all of these add-ons work off of a loop, where the loot command is constantly looped (in the Lua code) to clear out any and all available loot.
