The Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.1: A Realm Awoken will be released on December 17, 2013!

There will be an abundance of new content and changes coming, but here are a few things your multiboxing team can look forward to with the upcoming patch.

Dungeons
Hard mode will be added to the Copperbell Mikes and Haukke Manor, which means your multiboxing team will face atmospheric changes, different routes, new bosses, and mechanic changes. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to enter the new level 50 Pharos Sirius dungeon that is for teams of 4 with AF gear.

Crystal Tower
In order for your team to reach the entrance of the new Crystal Tower, you will first have to make your way through the Labyrinth of the Ancients. You can enter with a team of 8 equipped with ilevel 55 gear. Inside, you’ll find new enemies to defeat – King Behemoth, Bone Dragon, Thanatos, and Acheron – as well as ilevel 80 rewards.

Extreme Primals
These will become available after defeating Titan hard mode and require ilevel 70. If your team can manage to defeat Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan in extreme, you’ll be rewarded with an ilevel 90 weapon.

PVP Arena
The Wolves’ Den PVP Arena will be located off Moraby Docks and accessible via ferry. It’ll be sort of a relaxed PVP system with small group battles of 4 vs 4. Since it’s not a flat arena, your team can use the lay of the land and various obstacles to their advantage. If you win a match, you’ll be rewarded with a number of points that can be used to purchase abilities, traits and weapon skills, and PVP equipment. As you earn more points, it’ll unlock higher ranks and point tiers.

Housing
Has your multiboxing team been wishing for a private place to gather and hang out? If so, then you’ll be excited to know that you can purchase a piece of land and build them a private estate hall for a place to call home. You’ll even be able to customize the exterior and remodel the interior.

Job Changes
This patch will also have some job changes, which might affect your multiboxing team. Dragoons, monks, bards, black mages, and warriors will all have balancing changes.
