Default Anyone here successfully used Carbonite? (WoW addon)

So I'm leveling up my team which I abandoned at the start of MoP. I have already completed the quests but they have not. I downloaded Carbonite thinking it'd show me in the tracker and on the map their quest objectives. Sadly it isn't. It does tell me what quests they have IF I go open the quest log, select player and then 'get quests' from the right click menu on the map for that specific character.

Otherwise I see nothing. I only see mine in the quest tracker. Has anyone else had issues with this? Does anyone have an alternative solution to what I'm trying to do?

I use Carbonite, do you have it active on all clients? It only shows quests for the clients that have it active.

I have it enabled on all of them. The WoW directory is shared between 5 logins if that has any relevance.

I see my own quests(focus char) in the quest tracker but not anyone else's. I do see the +n if someone is on the same quest as me but otherwise zero visibility. The odd thing again is that if I get the character's quests (someone in party) it will show in the quest log for that character (tab) but not on the tracker. Yes, that's including having the white bubble toggled on the quest tracker (enabled for viewing other party member quests).

I do notice that if I'm driving from one of my 4 sub-80s, they all show one quest with an (+3) for the other 3 toons that have the quest but my 80 main shows 4 copies of the quest (one for each of my alts). So, it's a bit wierd here and there but it does seem to work. Not sure what you could be doing wrong.

Nothing. I've just dropped the Carbonite folder in the addons directory and restarted the game.

I went through and deleted all SavedVariables entries where Carbonite was mentioned. Did this twice (following the first few failures). Reloaded. Next step is removing Carbonite completely and redownloading it. No idea what could be causing this.

Ok so getting to the bottom of this produced a real issue with my games directory.

Apparently when I moved from an IDE SATA drive to a SSD drive my OS files all got corrupted with an unknown owner. Everything installed on the prior system had an owner and group note of ?????? ???????.

Unfortunately I learned this AFTER uninstalling WoW so I can't say right this moment if this fixed the issue but I assume it did. Something it needed permission for it didn't have or so I'm assuming. That is the only difference.

Before uninstalling and finding the ownership problem I did clear all old, unused mods and variables. Didn't fix the problem. So hopefully this does.

    No go!

I reinstalled, moved my WTF and my Interface folders to the new drive installation folder. Even after all of this the addon still isn't showing party members quests unless the toon I'm looking from has the quest.

Ok.. going to cut all addons but this one and see if that fixes it. =/
