Frost Death Knight MOP 5.1 Swapactionbar Macros

For those experiencing problems with frost macros after the 5.1 patch.

This seems to be working pretty good however my DPS is between 30 and 35k. It should be higher than that. Granted I only have a couple of PVP blues and my weapons aren't top of the line.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, they would be most appreciated.

DK frost Macro 1:

I'm using the same setup on mine and have Roiling Blood on the talent tree. If you add Blood Boil after Plague Strike or Howling Blast on the second macro's castsequence you won't have to worry about spreading the diseases and it will also refresh all of them. Using this instead of Pestilence won't cost you much in way of dps loss when spreading them to adds/mobs.




Just realized Roiling Blood and Plague Leech are on the same tier, long night, but I'm averaging around the same dps range in randoms at 87, depends on group mockup tho. Still, this is a good workaround if you don't use ISBoxer and until they nerf or 'fix' this macro system, I like it. Now if only I can get this to work well for my other classes.

You're welcome. I haven't tested each setup on dps charts, and since I'm not 90 and geared yet, it probably wouldn't be as reliable. If you do use Blood Boil, you'll have to swap out Plague Leech for Roiling Blood or else this wouldn't work. Using Blood Tap is far better than using Runic Empowerment. Just wish they'd fix it so it doesn't look like you're having a spasm when trying to use Blood Tap without sufficient amount of charges, or is that just me? It hasn't effected my dps that I've noticed, but really annoying during fights seeing my toon twitch like that. :/

Gonna have to try this one as well, but I have a side question...

For this new-fangled castsequence method, is there a limit to how many spells you can stack, I posted a version I'm trying in the BM thread, but not everything fires, but BM has like 8 spells that would need to be factored in.

I wanted to add to this my set up..based on OPs. I did everything the same but added raise the dead obliterate, frost strike to my 2nd step hot bar ( my 2 step spams all the buttons on the 2nd bar ) anyway.. i was finally about to get my 86 DK to do 17-20 on the dummies. So its looking great.. now my trio of rog/fury war/frost dk are all doing 17-20k at 86! looking forward to 90 8)

As a note. i don't action bar swap.. i take that out of the macro and use my 2nd hotbar for the other macro and extra buttons i spam on the 2nd step.
