    Default Ret Pally dps macros

I have tried different rotations, CLCRet addon, and so on, so far, this is the absolutely best rotation, yet the simplest I have come up with for Ret Paladins. On occasion, tho rarely even in a 5 minute Test Dummy fight, I have to manually hit my Exorcism spell, or Crusader Strike/Hammer of the Righteous if Exo is on a long cool down, but none the less, this has worked out best for me as in my current gear on Lansylot with ilvl 387, I'm hitting at over 22k on single targets. Go for the Divine Purpose talent on the tree as it is alot better than using the others and has no cool down. I've had back to back procs from it countless times.

I have not used Mosq's setup with ISBoxer, so it may be an alternative to what I use as it allows you twice the chance to hit a key, unless I read that wrong. I just use the default Blizzard option that casts on keydown/up, only on way.

    Spam key
    #showtooltip
    /startattack
/castsequence reset=5 Judgment, Inquisition, Crusader Strike, Word of Glory
    /click BT4Button5
    /click BT4Button6
    /click BT4Button12

    BT4Button5
    /cast Templar's Verdict
    /click BT4Button6
    /click BT4Button12

    BT4Button6
    /cast Exorcism
    /click BT4Button12

    BT4Button12
    Hammer of Wrath spell only
^should click through and get that when it's up, but I always keep spells such as this close to my spam key just in case for manual casting.
I use the same setup for mobs, but second macro for Hammer of the Righteous instead of Crusader Strike and BT4Button11 (in place of Button5) for my Divine Storm macro, which is the same, just different spells.

Feedback would be great cause I can't seem to get it from in game right now as no body knows anything and anytime I mention I use /castsequence I get yelled at.

Why use click macros that are dropping things and not always using things correctly instead of a priority system similar to a DK's setup?

Edited it a second time after testing with prioity setup, it did not work like I thought it would, infact, my dps was worse because it would not click/cast past the first spell everytime, sometimes not even at all through multible rotations. With the /click commands, it seems to work best and ignore Templar's Verdict if it does not proc or have 3 HPs, but the spam key clicks Exo between GCDs better this way.

Too many hangups with the priority setup if too many spells are in it. For some reason tho, my hunter's still seems to work, but not for melee classes or this one.

I'm not sure I have answers, but I'll post what I've been trying. I'm a Ret noob, I'm just at that stage where I'm trying to figure out what will work for next expansion. So far this seems to work, and I'm happy with the dps. My Ret pally is really undergeared and I've only been doing the test dummy's and normals.

2-stepper (which sounds like it's going out of style...)

    Step 1

    #showtooltip
    /startattack
    /castsequence reset=combat crusader strike,inquisition,hammer of the Righteous,judgment,crusader strike,templar's verdict,hammer of the Righteous,judgment
    /cast exorcism

    Step 2

    #showtooltip
    /cast avenging wrath
    /cast hammer of wrath

I'm such a ret noob that I'm probably missing something... I just use Icy-veins.com, Recount, Test dummy's and a couple runs in normal GB, HOO and VP. At the end of the runs, I check the DPS, check the breakdown of the spells used, looks like everything is getting fired off. I'll admit my use of inquisition is probably wrong (fires after 1 holy), for AoE it's the same but Divine Storm instead of Templar's Verdict instead. I run seal of righteousness the whole time.

Please provide any feed back (other then the obvious, 'You're a noob, that's all wrong' types of observations )
