All my conquest points are gone

I'd bet they did not log the transfer so they wont be able to tell how many conquest points you had before the patch. But seriously 7k honor is 12-14 good AV matches - AV weekend is 3 days away so what? And if you got the time to grind it one time you obviously can do it again its not that 7k honor is that much these days.

i don't understand why the hell you had 7k conquest points if you wonted to by gear on patch day it just does not add up. am going to lose about 500+ conquest points becouse the patch was pushed back but oh well, 7k is a lot of conquest though

First off you guys are so far off base with how much honor your can earn. You cannot get 7k honor from 12 av's. It would take me many weeks of additional grinding to earn that much honor back . Also my losses are across 15 characters so how long would it take me to regrind their lost honor on 15 characters? As to the question of why I didn't spend it...

This is the response from a GM on my ticket. As you can see he is not aware of the Blizzard fail. I didn't spend it because they were suppose to exceed 4k. There are some people who converted all their valor points to conquest so they can stockpile even more. Another reason I didn't spend it is because the honor could have been used to buy BOA items, enchant materials and more. If I knew their patch notes were a lie I could have spent as much as I could to lessen the blow of not getting jack shit for my effort.

With Patch 4.2, Conquest Points have been converted to Honor Points, potentially exceeding the 4,000 point Honor cap. The next Arena and Rated Battleground season will begin for level-85 players approximately one week after the launch of 4.2 and will coincide with the awarding of Season 9 titles and mounts. Any Honor accrued above the 4,000-point cap will be converted into gold at a rate of 35 silver per point. In addition, Season 10 rewards will be made available for purchase with Conquest Points awarded during the new season.

During maintenance the change that was intended to be applied for the start of Season 10 next week, which was to cap Honor Points at 4000 and convert any points above the cap to gold, was inadvertently applied early. This means that everyone who would have down-converted Conquest to Honor over the 4000 cap had those additional points converted to gold at a rate of 35 silver per point and sent to them via in-game mail.

We’re still researching what steps led to the error, but unfortunately due to the nature of the currency conversion that took place, we’ll be unable to reverse the change, remove the delivered gold, or reinstate the surplus Honor Points.

We apologize greatly for this error.

a few weeks before they said "Maybe" on the patch notes then it changed fast. hell i did not stockpile them becouse i do not tuest it.

change anything at all in game whether it's Blizzard's screw up in 4.2 or whatever else.

I cant quote on honor lost for multiple teams but for single teams - with my 5 mages I make 500-600 honor on an average AV win and we win alot during AV weekend. For good wins (basically roflstomping the alliance group) its more like 600-650 honor. Even losing now and then can yield 300 honor if you gave them a fight. So 12-14 AV wins is perfectly fine to regain 7k honor. Hell I completely equiped my mage team in 346 blue honor gear during one AV weekend that was alot more then 7k honor per toon.
