    Default ship help

    Hey guys,

Not going to be able to get in game until Saturday evening/Sunday. Just wondering if some of you more knowledgable players could link me an appropriate eft build for a Drake and the Caldari stealth bomber so I can plug it into Evemon and get a nice training plan going.

If we go WH space living, are we going capital ship building or are we no planning that far ahead and just see what happens...?

Will be nice to have a goal for Eve, floating about isn't getting me antwhere lol

This is the old standard for passive drakes....tweak as you like: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/...ank-Drake.html

Lots of different fits to make it work, but basically you want a big shield the regens fast with nice resists.

Manticore is a litlte more dynamic in how it's fitted, but in general: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/...-the-Buck.html

I prefer just using the missiles over the bomb launcher, and if you can fit it a microwarpdrive instead of an afterburner.
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.

When planning training I usually fire up EVEMon, and look at the 'Battleclinic Loadouts' and add all the skills for the top three/four, then add any certificates I like, and lastly trim back/swap any skills I don't won't - most batttleclininc fits have the authors favourite drones rather than the ones I want to use.

Don't forget that the loadouts don't include the skills you need to actually fit the listed modules. Many loadouts require level 5 in skills like Advanced Weapon Upgrades and other slow to learn skills. Capacitor and shield skills can make the difference between a fit which is cap stable and one which falls over in a couple of minutes.

Cheers guys. Yeah I know about all the 'extra' skills that are required. It's easy to get a new ship but takes a while to get all the support skills. Glad I only have to train the skills once! More concerned with the choice of sticking with Heavy Missiles or training for Assault Missiles...

Would a rocket Kestrel be any good as a tackling frigate?
