Mind Controlling Totems

I have got the big pulls down to a nice skill, stagerred totems on my team of 4 shamans, with thunderstorm to knock them back and heal back up. However, when one of my guys gets mind controlled its a pain. I can't find the charming totems quick enough in Sethekk Halls so I always wipe.

This is when I do a pull of about 8-9 birds. When a Time-Controller Bird comes along, I try and DPS it first, but sooner or later, they get a charming totem out and I can't do anything because I have 5 of my toons stood on top of me (I use AOE shaman totems and Fire Nova) and about 10 mobs. Finding and selecting a single Charming Totem is next to impossible.

So I thought about using /target Charming Totem but it doesn't work?! Am I missing something, but are Totems not selectable? How would you recommend I go about killing them.

I have managed to get my XP/hour to about 250k (which is double of doing normal instance runs) by resetting Sethekk Halls and only doing the first room. Once I kill the first room I teleport out, reset, and repeat. 500k XP an hour rested is the best I have been able to do. You have to move like lightening and do big pulls, but if you do itproperly its awesome.

I just CAN'T kill the damn charming totems. I don't think my Tremor Totems work either... (Or I have just been doing it wrong?)
Any advice?

Okay, I can see that I can use Tremor, but the MC auto ticks to the next guy, so at least one guy is Charmed for 1 second.

I use enemy nameplates, helps me identify targets by HP too. You could add a targeting macro to target them specifically if it still gives you problems.

For some reason "/target Ch" doesn't target the charming totem.

You cannot marco target totems for some time now. ZG, Ulda, etc

Yes this was to stop pvp macros that had totem targets and pet attack making them trivial to destroy.

I have:

/targetexact charming totem

in my macros and I could have sworn it still works for PVE/mob totems. I'll try sethekk halls tonight and see.
