    Default Alternatives to SpartanUI?

Since it appears that SpartanUI is now defunct, does anyone have any suggestions for a clean/minimalist UI for boxing? I've heard nUI might be a good way to go, but I haven't tested it yet.

I agree with Tin. I went on a binge, testing quite a few addon packages and suites. LUI stands apart from the rest IMO, providing a lot of features with nice options to control screen real estate. I've always been one to design my own UI but I am very pleased with LUI right out of the box. I use ArkInventory rather than the supplied Stuffit but that's the only major change I made.

I just hate the idea of a compilation breaking like what's happened to the OP.

Even the LUI author is talking about the real possibility he won't be updated for patch 4.0 when it hits.

Was just about to suggest tukui too Very nice and popular addon. Designed to use as little memory and consume as little cpu as possible. The only thing I miss is pet raid frames that the author won't add because he thinks they take too much space on screen and pets should never have to be healed anyway :s

Huh? Pets show up if you use the healer raid layout. Or they did in 10.x. Maybe it's changed in 11 (I've stopped using the TukUI raid layouts in favour of VudHu)

PS consider this three votes for TukUI (and four if I proxy vote on muffin's behalf )

Well I have to admit I haven't got the opportunity to try raid frames in healer layout yet but I gathered this information from the author of tukui : http://www.tukui.org/v2/forums/topic.php?id=2722

For what it's worth, the LUI author (according to the forums I visited) said he will have an update to his 3.x UI version for the 4.0 WoW patch. It is the 4.0 version of LUI that may take quite a while to develop.
