Tank won't be taking much damage, most of the encounter damage is frost based so frost resist helps quite a bit.

Awesome kill. Just had a couple questions since I haven't fought this boss before and I'm killing time while waiting for Patch day Boss to die.

How much healing did the tank need? It didn't look like you needed any. My bear isn't as geared as yours so I'm just wondering if I need to keep one shammy resto or not.

Does the boss every attack directly, or is it only the adds that do damage?

Once phase 1 starts, kill the first add as fast as possible, it's really the only one that actually deals damage. After that get ready to dance! Usually if things go well, i don't even need to heal my tank. Small adds don't hit hard, but you might want to kill few if your tank isn't geared. Even though boss has dmg reduction buff at phase 1, I try to keep my dps on boss after first add just so i can get him down during or right after first "freeze".

This is one of the few times it helps to have a dps key that doesn't assist the tank constantly. Guess that's what I'll be fixing first thing!

Yeah, it really does help.
My toons dps their current target until it is dead, or i give them new target. This gives me more flexibility while tanking getting hold of adds etc.

I like the music ;P, did you see that first vid of halion with the hardstyle? I laughed so hard cause i listen to that type of music all the time, and people kept saying it was garbage, oh well
