Boosting Toon, PvE or PvP gear?
Hi all,
just had a thought, which would allow the largest pulls for boosting? PvE gear or PvP gear? I would assume PvE but then PvP has a lot of stamina on it so that might negate the PvE bonus due to lower levels a lot of the time cannot hit you due to the large level difference?
Anyone got insight? I am farming a few badges on my Resto druid to get some feral gear to boost existing toons and so wondering should I go PvP gear or PvE, also this is now on a PvP server.
I have no intent on tanking dungeons on this toon, only healing, so this is not a consideration.
Thanks

Since you're talking about druid specifically, then yes there are many pvp items that are good tank gear. This has nothing to do with PvP gear being good for boosting, simply the way druid feral tank itemization works. If you were talking about a paladin or warrior or something, then you probably want pve. Using PVP gear seems as if you are totally wasting itemization points on resilience against mobs that basically can't crit you and are already hitting you for next to nothing. On the other hand if your goal is to be a cat the entire time and swipey swipey for taking down pulls faster than bear, then maybe pvp is the way to go for a bit of extra survivability.
