    Default Emblems farming route

    Hello all,

I am a bit lazy on farming for long time, so I have tested a couple of fast routes to farm emblems as fast as possible
I am running a protection paladin and 4 elemental shamans. On multiple trash pack pulls I tend to abuse the magma totems and chain heal.

1 ) Gundrak (skipping lots of trash). 5 emblems, about 15 - 20 minutes maximum, usually doable in 10 minutes.
1.1 ) Enter Snake boss entrance. Kill 3 packs of trash (single pull) and run with your full group to the boss. Drop fire elementals and blow heroism. Ignore the extra snakes, thunderstorm them if you want... they will die from elementals anyways. Loot 20 seconds later
1.2 ) Enter Moorabi entrance. Kill 3 packs of trash (2 pulls) and kill moorabi. Dont lose dps oninterrupting his transformation, just pew pew him to death.
1.3 ) Kill the Eck (all trash before eck is a single pull)
1.4 ) Go to moorabi place and jump into the water, swim to the "bridge".
1.5 ) Kill the Colossus. Fight on the stairs to avoid trash. You have chance to pull one extra elemental, just twoshot it.
1.6 ) Acivate the bridge lock and clear 3 packs of trash. The two rhinos right before the boss are a single pull.
1.7 ) Kill Galdarah. Burn heroism again if the cooldown from the first fight has expired.

2 ) DTK. 1 emblem. 4 packs of trash to first boss. You can make the first 3 packs in one single pull. The undead packs just before the boss are also doable in a single pull. Do this only if you clear gundrak first and your gear allows you to take the large pulls, since the instances are fairly near to each other.

Dalaran --> Caverns of time port

3 ) Culling of Strat. 5 emblems on timed run or 4 on non timed run. Go leeroy mode if your gear permits. Overgearing the instance and going full leeroy you can do the timed part in less than 25 minutes and the full instance in about 30.

4 ) UP. First 3 boses only. 3 emblems. If you cannot make point #5, better don't waste time here.

5 ) UK only if your gears allows you to go leeroy. 3 emblems.

6 ) Nexxus. 2 emblems from the orc miniboss in the frozen tunel before the mage boss and the mage boss itself. That's about 5 packs of trash you could kill in 3 or 4 pulls (orc miniboss included). I tend to bug the mage event and rarely do this run anyways. This instance is far away from anything else, so unless you really need these emblems you can just skip it.

    7 ) HoL. 2 emblems.
7.1 ) Run to the right and kill all the trash you have collected while going to there.
7.2 ) Keep advancing and kill the boss when you see him. No matter if he is with lightning or not.
7.3 ) Pull all or half of the water and fire elementals near the second boss and kill them. Use magma totems for the water and chain lightning for the fire ones. Grounding totems and fire resist aura help alot here.
7.4 ) Kill the boss and go to point #8

    8 ) HoS. 2 emblems.
8.1 ) Reach the Krystallus tunnel in a single pull. This can be a bit tricky, but it's doable once you get used to it.
8.2 ) Go to Krystallus pulling all the trash from tunel entrance to boss (dont aggro the boss). Abuse magma totems, thunderstorm and probably lay on hands. 4 thunderstorms usually kill on the run all the small "elementals" that you will collect while reaching the boss place.
8.3 ) Kill Krystallus but don't blow heroism.
8.4 ) Single pull to maiden of grief.
8.5 ) Burn heroism and kill maiden. Use shadow resist aura here. With good gear she will die in about 20-30 seconds.

This entire operation would lead to about 15 - 20 emblems per toon and should take you no more than 2 or 3 hours with relatively decent gear.

For the large pulls, remember that earthbind totem will root mobs for 5 seconds and it has 20 sec cooldown. Stagered earthbind for large groups of melee mobs will be needed to allow you run to the fight place without getting much damage. stoneclaw totem also helps in case of need. I have these two totems and magma totems on separate keybinds due to obvious reasons.

It takes some mastering to achieve the big pulls, but once you have spent 100 or 200 gold wiping on them and perfect the technique it pays by itself.

    Have fun

I wish. It's not quite that easy for me yet. I should man up and do some bigger pulls but I don't believe that the gear allows it yet.
I have a 10 emblem route planned out with bosses I can do but I assume it would take me hours in travel (my setup is hardware lag to the max) and trash.

    Regarding Gundrak, can you:

    1) Kill Snake Boss
    2) Jump in water (possible?) and kill Colossus
    3) Run through trash to next area (right) and jump into water (pray they evade)
    4) Swim to moorabi, kill, etc..

If they dont evade then I guess you'd have to kill them, but wouldn't that be faster than going out of the instance to get to the Moorabi entrance?

If you do that you will take one more trash before moorabi. In gundrak everything you kill is to be killed to make sure it doesn't aggro during the boss fight. also, snake boss to bridge is a long swim because the upside ramp is at moorabi's side.

In any case, if it's faster your way I doubt you will win more than a minute.

Those few times when I do trek all the way over to Nexus, I usually smash Drakos the Interrogator in The Oculus also. It's a lot of trash for one boss, but just getting over there has wasted a lot of time anyway.

I just stopped looting trash. Made more money off stacks of shards anyway. Typically, I start off with ToC, because there are still some 219 epics I want, Then UK>UP>Draktharon>Gundrak>HOL>Violet Hold>CoS>Hearth>Nexus. Nets 37-ish badges and can be done in about 4 hours. Kind of depends on how much time I have to kill.

HoS, Old Kingdom, and Oculus are all on my list of "don't bother", and Azjol Nerub hasn't come up as a daily yet, so I haven't had a reason to see how good it is.

Gundrak trash is simple a few minutes at most I just pull the 2 sets of snakes, then I get the 2 trolls strolling back since I am down to 1-2 snakes by then. Move up so third set of snakes kill them, then on to the elemental trash, I just run in pull the big rock guys stay by the entrance and what ever did not aggro, on there pat back will aggro, takes maybe 7 minutes to do all of that, then boss is a quick 45 second set up at most and 1-1.5 min to kill him, run over to Moorabi, kill the pat, take out the trolls watching then the ones in the middle of the arena, maybe 3-4 minutes to do. Moorabi is cake 30-45 sec to kill, I try to do the achievement but have failed so far but he goes down quick. Eck takes about oh 2 minutes to clear trash for me, so about 4 minutes until his dead. Then over to elemental boss, then to last boss, 20-25 mins to do.

Yes, I timed it. Just kill all the trash, it's actually shorter.
I have been trying to get my Gundrak down faster also. I started with killing the snake boss then flying over to moorabi and eck.

It took me ~9 mins to clear the trash on from Moorabi's room to pulling Colossus

Now after killing the snake boss it takes me ~5mins to clear trash from snake bosses room to pulling colossus.

So if I cleared all the trash from one side to colossus then more trash to the other side bosses it would take ~14 mins of trash clearing. For me it seems if I clear moorabi/eck then fly to snake boss it saves alot of time. I need to figure out this jumping in the water to a bridge. Don't fish spawn when you jump in the water?
