Cartographer vs Carbonite

I decided to make a new post because I am open to information regarding both of these addons instead of it just focusing on how Carbonite frustrates me I have gone through most of, if not all of, Carb's options and such so I am a bit more familiar with it (And have turned off a great deal of it where I could, hehe)

I want to use Quest Helper. It has stopped me from missing a quest on my slaves too many times to want to ditch it. What I would like to ditch however is the need to use Carbonite's Quest Watch stuff. Instead I would like the Map + Minimap combo window display that I so very much like in carbonite, to show Quest Helper's pathing and zoning information. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am pretty sure I saw a 'Show Map mods on map' or something to that nature in the options of Carbonite but I can not seem to find it again. I have gone through most of the settings but no such luck.

Currently I have Carbonite set up to emulate TomTom and Quest Helper to use Tom Tom WP's (Cartographer WP emulation did -NOT- work for what its worth). This pretty much gives me what Carbonite was already able to do, but the single pathing is determined by Quest Helper instead. Is there some way that I can take it the step further? Go back to using QH's pathing and such on the map? It doesnt seem to be a zoom level consideration.

Alternately I am going to see if I can not give this a go with Cartographer. If I do have to go with Cart does anyone know if Cart can do the zoom in/out thing for showing my current location and target waypoint? This is one of the reasons I would prefer to use Carb. Secondly, is there a way to get rid of the mini map and place what it would show on the cart map as well? This is the second reason I would prefer to use Carb, hehe.
