Default Revitalize from resto druids - does it stack?

Once again, this is probably a question that I could research myself if I wasn't at work

I'm curious if the replenishing benefit of wild growth and rejuv will stack from multiple druids? The resto tree has a talent that basically gives the druids HoTs a 15% chance per tick of restoring 1% mana. I'm curious if you have 5 druids casting wild growth if there would be 5 sources of replenishment on one toon (if they have 5 wild growths active on them then are they getting 5 shots at restoring 1% mana or do they only get 1 shot regardless of if they had 30 spells on them).

I have a feeling that it doesn't work that way and that only one replenishment is possible on a toon at any given time. However, if it does stack, then assuming 15,000 mana, and according to the following blog, 5 wild growths would give more than 500 MP5.

It doesn't stack. It gets overwritten iirc.

A resto druid friend of mine:

[12:04] treecat: the only time replenishment would be worthwhile is for ragestarved beasties or..people who use energy/runic power
[12:04] treecat: and then it's ...still not that good
    [12:04] treecat: crap talent

I tested it out when I was running resto in my 5 boxing group, and I never thought it was worthwhile.

An important thing to remember, the talent is Revitalize, not replenishment, it used to be named replenishment but it was changed because it was being confused with http://www.wowwiki.com/Replenishment Which, it just isn't meant to be like the multi class ability Replenishment.

Yeah, the more I thought about it the more I realized how OP it would be if it did stack. Thanks for the help

At least replenishment is tied into a decent talent with Pallies - Judgements of the Wise

I guess this discussion has continued in a different thread.

I'm 75% sure revitalize does stack. In other words, if you have multiple HoTs on you from multiple druids, then you will have many chances to proc the extra mana/rage/energy/runic power.

This could be very interesting. For one it looks like my 5 resto druids can probably spam wild growth all day long and almost never run out of mana (due to so many revitalize procs happening). Also, it could be interesting to see if 3 resto druids and 2 rogues or 2 warriors is in any way a viable arena team. With a massive amount of healing to keep everyone up, and boosted energy/rage generation from revitalize, it may be enough to burst people down one at a time.

Interesting, I supposed that the druids could cyclone their healer while the rogues attempt to take out one person. It may work in a battle of attrition, but do you really want to play each game to 10mins? Ugh.

Are mods moving this thread back and forth between forums? It's a bit annoying. I don't know why this would be in group discussion anyway considering the main question was about a healing mechanic. I think I originally put it in general WoW or general questions.

I tried this not too long ago in an AV on my 70 druids. Even in crappy gear, the wildgrowth spam keeps my 5 tree's, or anyone around me up forever. Also to topic, I would not say the revitalize effect stacks, but it procs independently without hidden cooldowns ( hope I worded that correctly). They were the ultimate turtle saver, even the cause of them. Note that ALL 5 were tree's, I have yet to find the optimal amount of tree's for this to be effective.

    1. I never ran out of mana, NOT ONCE
    2. That much healing can only be beat by focus fire, or mass cc
    3. Crazy stupid one button spamming fun!
    4. Worth trying at least once if u have a druid team.

PS. This was before the patch 3.2, not sure if anything changed.
