    Default Escape from Silverbrook!

Here is the quest if you are not familiar with it. http://thottbot.com/q12308

I arrived in Amberpine Lodge after being dispatched here from the Dragonblight. As usual the reception was kinda cold. No one will really talk to me till I prove my intentions. Like my exalted reputation with the forces against Arthas is not enough or something... So there I was out killing bears to restock the food supplies. Why im not sure to be honest, the guy standing in the inn seems to have an endless supply of food for me to buy. I come across some nutter with a hatchet. Clearly he was of unsound mind to attack when I had clearly displayed my prowress after dispatching grizzly bear number 471. His mental state was confermed when I found he had someone elses possesions upon him.

Returning to Amberpine with a wagon load of bear meat, I returned the stolen items to the local do gooder and was asked to help forge an alliance with some nearby trappers. At last something note worthy. Seems they lost some object of value and want it back. (insert beaver joke here). Now that were all friends im off to Silverbrook!

Checking in with Mr. Big at Silverbrook im quickly put to work. Kill some Horde! No problem. Pull the weeds and save the crops! Easy sauce. Kill an Orc, skin him and wear it to a party! Uhhh, not so much. Huzzah says the scooby gang, at last the evil deeds of deep forest dwelling trapers is uncovered. Quikly I polish up my badge of goody two shoes and set off to rescue a soldier who shall continue the story! We sneak out the back of the structure to some waiting horses. 'Lets take Mr.Bigs horse, he wont need it' says the soldier. I point to my druid companions and tell them "Mount up! We ride!". I watched as my blue haired druid deciple swiftly settles in behind the the soldier and...

    blink blink

    Stunned 1d10 rounds

Watching as they haul ass away I say to noone in particular. "That man just stole my Druid"

Anyway, this isn't exactly an easy quest to finish. I ran after the pair on the horse only to watch about 40-50 wargens/werewolves spawn and beat them senseless. So I abandoned it and knowing that there is only one horse, I put my 4 druids in flight form and follow the paladin as he escapes on the horse. Holy crap, im not sure how your supposed to be able to fend off the tens and 50's of mobs that spawn with a 10s cool down fire ball and stun. I was never able to get the horse to sprint as it was 99% stunned at all times. After about the 4th time failing, I looked online and im not alone it seems. So I tried it again for another half hour or so. Its nice they only hit for double didgets else there would have been many deaths.

I was about to just give up on this quest, but wanted to try one more time. This time I parked my druids back at Amberpine where this rollercoaster ride ends. Fly back and I jump on the horse and were off to the races. Humm, its different this time. Only like 2-5 wargens are spawning and chaseing me not a huge massive hord that reminded me of pulling the SM cathedral by attacking the boss. Arriving in Amberpine like 10min later as the soldier clearly wants to take a tour of Grizzly Hills first. Only the paladin got credit

Actually this quest is very easy (and very fun) to do. It is just a pain to multibox, as you have to do it once for each toon (at least that's how I did it).

    The horse has 3 abilities:
    pb aoe knockout
    targeted aoe dps
    run speed increase

Use the run speed increase whenever is up but ONLY if no worg is in melee range.
When there is a worg in melee, use knockout so they are rooted and then use the targeted aoe.

Et voila, you should finish the quest with the horse at nearly full hp.

Slow and steady, one character at a time. It sucks, but that's about the only way to do it.

Kind of late, but as long as you have your characters with the quest at the end point they will (unless things have changed) get credit for it.

You can hearth 4, do it on one, and run them to the end point and all your characters will get credit.

Yeah I did this quest yesterday with my alliance team and it sucks. I ended up doing it 7 times because I died once on my first char and then as I was doing my 4th char I PIP swapped and it dismounted my 4th char right near the end I ended up failing.

This quest seems to only give credit to the person who does it even if your team is parked a the end.

I saw this thread a day before actually doing the quest (right around the time it was started). Dang, this stinks. One character at a time isn't so bad, but it's just damn boring after twice through.
