Default [Keyclone] City of Heroes Multi-boxing with Keyclone

I'm trying to run multiple City of Heroes on one machine and use Keyclone. I have frequently run 3 instances on one machine and played successfully without any software multiboxing tools. However, I wanted to try new and fancier things. Sadly I am having software problems that are strange.

I got Keyclone running no problem. Keyclone works perfectly in the chatbox of City of Heroes. Outside of the chatbox it does not appear to function. To be extremely specific I am running City of Heroes twice on my machine in Windowed mode. I can click anywhere in a City of Heroes window (but the chat box) and press "Space" to jump. I can click in my 2nd window of City of Heroes and press "Space" to jump. Running Keyclone and pressing "Space" does not cause both characters to jump, only the active window jumps. However, I can click in the chatbox of City of Heroes window #1 and window #2. Then if I click in the chatbox of #1 and type "Hello" the word "Hello" will also appear in window #2. If I click in the chatbox of #2, then switch to #1 press "Space" to jump then "w" to move forward I will Jump and move forward, and a "Space" then "W"s will appear in the chatbox of #2. Also, if I bring up Notepad, or multiple copies of the program Notepad, I can use Keyclone to copy my City of Heroes keystrokes into Notepad.

In summation: City of Heroes + Keyclone only works if I am attempting to chat. Any keystrokes outside of the chatbox simply do not function.
    1) Am I doing something wrong? Can I correct the problem?
    2) Does City of Heroes prevent Keyclone from functioning?

While I'd love to be able to help you, I've not even managed to open more than one instance of CoH on my PC. When I run CoH.exe it tells me I need to run the patcher, so I run that, fine. Then I try to run another and it tells me I can't run more than one instance. Same when I am trying to set up 5 regions with Keyclone. The regions load, all with the little message telling me how I can't run more than one instance. I would love to know how you managed it.

You need to get all the way to the login screen before opening a 2nd CoH client. There are more complicated ways that allow you to bypass that.
Here's me with 4 Masterminds. For non-City of Hero players Masterminds are similar to Necromancers in Diablo 2 or any type of character that summons "Pets" or "Henchman" to do the work. All the characters with green names in the picture are me or my henchman.

Hi there, I've answered questions about this in a few threads but they're hard to find because of the way our search works here.
Basically the only way you could pull it off with keyclone is to have one machine per CoH client. There's some kind of "hidden characters" that go into every keystroke or click in CoH. Sometimes you can see this if you're zoning and alt-tab to another window, and come back to find your main has yelled "HELP!" 23 times or typed a weird ASCII string. These hidden characters could be found by someone who likes diving into lots and lots of code, but I don't know anything about that. The hidden keystrokes only work if the CoH window is in the foreground. I even tried Mousemachine once (it's just a mouse click emulator) but it would only work on those windows that were in the foreground.
CoH put this feature in to prevent botting, but did it in a way that screws over multiboxers who are trying to use the same computer for multiple instances.
What our CRACK TEAM OF MULTIBOXING SCIENTISTS has found is if you have multiple computers, you can use keyclone, as long as CoH window is in the foreground for each computer.
I did it the old-fashioned way like you; lots of macros and alt-tabbing and quickclicking. Personally I had a 3-MM team (the Black Lilly Gang) and picked up group flight on one and group teleport on another and let the lulz ensue as I dropped my team of 3 MMs(with dark heals on autofire) and 18 minions(thugs, robots, and mercs; all the ranged types) right in the middle of each Longbow group. Because of darkfall and force fields and all that I was running something like 61% defense, plus picking up taunt on the main MM in bodyguard mode.
But I'm preaching to the choir on that part no?

Hrm..I'm not having any luck with KeyClone and two computers with COH. I can see the input coming through but nothing happens. The windows are in the foreground. No special settings or anthing is there?
