"im usein my brothers account to boost"
Read TOS... Post will be locked...
But anyways... Respec the Pally... you will make more than enough money to respec back if you are lvling properly.
In general, respec the pally - mages are squishy.
More specifically, I don't think your brother is going to appreciate you getting his account closed.
go pally.. im playing a DK and wishing i had that ret aura.. or whatever it is that does damage when people hit ya.. i've seen some amazing things done with it!
Raf With 68DK boosting in dungeons to 48 then kill quests to 58, 58-60 4 or 5 outlands quests.
Team one: 3x restro druid, 1x priest Currently 60
Team Two:4x Shaman Currently 48
yes it is my brothers account but all the accounts we own are in my dads name as he pays for them, and all from the same ip so.
At the end of th day do as you wish. But remember that chat logs are watched. And Blizz is pretty strong on its views on account sharing and ownership. If all accounts are in your dads name, then only 1 of his kids could use each account. If this is breached and they find you... WHAM! Banstick time!
If you are under 18 and your dad has the accounts in his name, he is allowed to let one of his children use the account. Like others said you might want to keep it hush that you are sharing with your brother. The policy is unreasonable but there's nothing that can be done about it so be careful about what you do or say when using it.
Anyway to answer your Q, use the paladin. I was boosting in strat with a toss up between my frost mage and my prot war - tried the mage, got my ass handed to me. Used the warrior and blitzed it. A pally is even better due to their spells and undead specialisation (get the minor glyph if you really want to go all out). Also, a good run to do is through the gate of dead strat (tip- if you use swiftness potions, you can catch and fight the magistrate) then go around to the entrance of live strat, rince, repeat. The mobs in the rest of undead side do many silences and anti magic shields. The humans in 'real' live have aggro drops, charges and so on. But if you just rotate through the undead trash between live and dead, you will have a great grinding run without hitting the cap.
Hope that helps.
thanks for the reply, should i take the pally prot or ret?
go prot with anticipation in the ret tree.
stoicism is good in this case.
you dont need blessing of kings.
make sure you get holy shield, hammer of the righteous, blessing of the sanctuary and avenger's shield (in no particular order)
oh and that talent that adds to your spell damage by comverting your stamina. =]
Prot or Holy are actually the best grinding specs IMO. If you are Holy or Holy-Prot but wear Prot/Stam/PVP gear you can do more spell damage to the mobs whilst getting uninterruptable (by which I mean no pushback) heals (unless they kick your spell school). I am not sure what the exact hybrid spec is but you may want to experiment with a talent calc.
If you do not have a lot of stam/tank gear go prot as you can spec for extra survival that your gear doesnt give you. Also, bring more than 1 shield if you can, mine broke after several runs and I had to repair at LHC.
