Default mouse broadcast problems with right click/quest givers (was not working with 1.8k and 2 displays)

UPDATE: I did more experiments: left clicking on cast bars work fine for instance - just that in wow you sometime don't see the mouse move/sometimes you see it; but it left clicks fine; even with my main window with different aspect ratio (kudos!)

What doesn't work is right clicking on quest givers; somehow it sends my toon in random places; which I suspect is because my views aren't exactly the same (I tried dnp'ing /script SetView(2); but that didn't help (well it did reset somehow the view to what to my eyes look the same, but when I right click I get seemingly random behavior. I tried to check/uncheck "differentiate right mouse" but it didn't seem to help (what does that option mean exactly ? it would be nice to have documentation for each option...)

so to rephrase my question: is anyone able to right click quest givers with keyclone and wow ? (how do you do it)

    original (wrong) message:

    Dear keyclone,

Are you aware that mouse click broadcasting mode isn't working ?

this is with 1.8k on vista 64 and single PC with 2 screens - screen#1 is 1280x1024 divided by 4 (with each window 1280x1024 inside wow); screen #2 is 1440x900

when I click in one of the 4 alt window using broadcast mode (sound confirmation works): I get clicks randomly over the screen; not at all in the same location in the other 3 windows (I don't expect it to work on the main window as it isn't same aspect ratio; but on the 4 same size windows I expect it to work...)

Have you reproduced this issue or do you need more details/info ?

Will it be fixed in the next release ? when would that next release be ?

Another somewhat unrelated bug is often I find that my inside wow resolution isn't set per my maximizer setting; ie instead of 1280x1024 I get some 1158or something (wide screen rez, maybe because the window come up first on widescreen before maximizer moves it to the other screen?)

    Thanks a lot

Pretty sure it only passes the click, didn't realize it passed any mouse location information... I could be mistaken?

Also thought mouse clicking with locations etc... works on multiple machines not multiple instances on 1 machine.

no it used to work when I had a single monitor - it is slow (you have seconds to see the mouse moving into each window) but it was working - now it does move the mouse but not at all on the windows; I suspect it has to do with me having 2 display or maybe having lots of zones configured and not using the first 5 but some in the middle... anyway I hope keyclone can acknowledge the issue or tell me what I can do so he can reproduce it and hopefully fix it soon

    thanks

After further testing: I updated my original message to a right click / quest giver specific problem rather than a keyclone with monitors issues (I jumped to the wrong conclusions initially, sorry)

i use this all the time as i level up. i drive up to the quest giver(QG), make sure my alts have the camera all the way out.. and if i did it right, the QG is in roughly the same spot for my alts... then toggle mouse-click-passing on, right click and watch the cursor jump from screen to screen. sometimes it'll miss on the larger area (the reason is due to wow's rendering of the quest page and the text.. nothing i can do about that)... once quest is selected... i can click the complete/accept fairly accurately. then i toggle the mouse-click-passing off.

is this not what you are doing? how is it different?

Thanks for the reply - when ever I try to right click on quest giver with mouse broadcast it sends my toon turning or running in random directions; I believe that's in part because I have click to move (which is needed for manually right clicking when they aren't exactly in range or getting close to a quest giver)

I even tried /script SetView(4); in my follow macro to make sure they have as much of the same view as possible but that doesn't help, they just don't click right for me...

I got around to try that - while it helps - it is still very much hit or miss - I typically get 2 or 3 out 5 open quest right clicking - it sadly ends up being faster to just right click myself 5 times with mouse click move.

I even setup exact same aspect ratio on all 5 windows; a SetView(4); on all and still it doesn't quite click reliably.

Q: what does distinguish left/right click checkbox do in keyclone ?
