I’m setting up repeater regions in ISBOXER so I can drive my druid's healing via the tank.
I’m using the healbot addon, which I’m happy with in general.
*
The issue I’m having is that despite ordering by name, it always displays the character healbot is installed on first.
So on my DK it has my DK listed first, then the rest of the party ordered by name.
On my druid it is showing the druid first followed by the rest of the part ordered by name.
*
This results in my healing going to the wrong character, Is there anyway to setup healbot so it shows the party ordered by name,
Regardless.
*
I’ve played around with the config for ages and have been pulling my hair out.

These things are why I switched to VuhDo. It's much more boxer friendly. It's easier to set and lock the exact position and you can configure everything imaginable with VuhDo.

I was reluctant to change.....but vuhdho keeps cropping up and everything I read is positive.
Combine that with the magic words boxer friendly and i'm sold.
I'll head on over to curse next play session.
Thanks.

Use ctrl-alt-right click to "add to target" each toon in the order of your main window.
One thing I've noticed though, is that if you change the settings of your group order to "role" it is a perma fix. The tank is first, then healer, then three dps all in the same order. I haven't had to manually configure HB for weeks now.

There is an option in healbot to not list yourself.

Thanks man, I had the same problems as Shaeman. And your little advice helped me out :)

Healbot does have an alphabetical listing, which is what you'd want ideally.
Not sure how to do it, but it has been answered in several Healbot threads.
Alphabetical or a fixed order is a requirement for repeater regions.
You will definitely want every toon to be listed, and to not use the "don't list current toon" option.
Otherwise, you won't be able to heal that toon via repeater regions.

I have search (on this forum, the Internet and within Healbot self) for the alphabetical listing option but didn find it.
d0z3rr gave me a push in the right direction because now I have an alphabetical listing order and can use Repeater Regions! I am at work so I can't give the exact details what I did but's it's OK now.

Can you give some tips about how to sort the group in alphabetical order?

Healbot is highly configurable. Head to http://healbot.alturl.com/ and many questions will be answered.
I actually just reconfigure my healer's window everytime I play as I play my healer solo a lot and like to have him in the first slot standardly. Its really a minor inconvenience. I also configured healbot on my main (paladin) window to show all the druid healing icons on my paladin's window so I can see easily what hots are up and what aren't without having to move my eyes to my buff area in the ui.
On a related note, I set up a click macro for my druid to cast wildgrowth on himself every cooldown. Wow, talk about easy mode. I dont' know how a druid can run out of mana in a five box team and having wildgrowth go off on my foursome (or all five if I have the tanked "bunched") is just awesome.
So, I use HB now to primarily track hots, debuffs, and to single heal as needed. Pretty nice.

For Grid + GridCustomLayouts, you would use:
/Grid Config
Layout > Custom Layouts > New
order=NAME;
Not sure for Healbot, but I've seen a thread where someone said how.
So I know you can.

yes, after tested, we can sort by name in healbot as below
step1: in heal panel, check "exta" group only.
step2: sort by name
tested in my team, but not tested in raid group.

Click options
Click Skins
Click Healing
Down the bottom Select Sort raid bars by "Name"
and only put a tick on the box Group. everything else for "Also Sub Sort" should be unticked
(this had me pulling my hair out for over an hour also :)

The options in Healbot you just gotta keep digging.
When you get to the option Sort by- then a scrollbox change that to name. Where it says targets list- check everything but SELF.
I'm sort of with you though- my Healbot has a mind of its own. It'll stay anchored where I want it for weeks then I log in one day it's moved itself and I have to realign the BS. Also the skins on one character don't match my other characters. Just odd things popping up here and there. Think I might give Vuhdo a shot myself.
