Transferring account wide mounts to second bnet

I had one bnet with over 100 mounts and my second with only 7. I xferred a char from the first bnet to the second and it moved all the mounts over to my second bnet.

The blizzard FAQ states that account wide mounts and achievements will xfer, but battle pets will not.

Really, thats interesting, my kid has some mounts I want, and her account is in my name, I might xfer a toon of mine to her account, its a diff bnet then back to my main bnet, if I do that will I get her mounts on my bnet that I am missing ?

Nice, I will just xfer over a mid lvl char then that won't mess up my teams and they will all get it :P This will make my ashes and ony drake farming much quicker

Thats brilliant, she has over 161 mounts so that will help boost her some what.

Make sure that char logs ON while on your current account!

Also, I'm assuming the sharing works with achievements and titles associated with them as well?

We decided to move my daughters wow account to my bnet, its in my name anyway but her account. I presume there would be no issues with Blizz in anyway having her wow account on my bnet, being 2 different people playing accounts on the same bnet ? As in, daughter on her account and me, on my other 6.

Im almost 13,300 achieve pts so moving her to my bnet will bump me up a fair bit and her alot since she doesnt pvp as much as me atm, + all those awesome mounts we both get to exchange!! :)

Thanks, I like achievements, now lately I have gone insane and going for all pvp ones, infact Im really into pvp atm, definitely going to pvp a tonne in MOP.
Thats why I was considering moving some of my boxers to another realm where other boxers are.
Pug BGs are driving me up the wall, and I am so Jealous when I see premades in pugs........

quite a few matches over the bg weeked, call to arms we could have got perfection, 3 of us in same guild go in bg, and pugs dont respond to requests of assisting etc, BLAH!

Battle Tags are always in the format of ChosenAlias#XXXX where XXXX is a random 4 digit number generated when it is created. He didn't provide his Battle Tag, it looks like he provided his forum user name. ;)

Love Blizz, just got off the phone with some fella, he moved my daughters account to my bnet, now we have 13700 achieves, shit the lazy ass she went up a fair bit, and we both have more mounts, I have 174, she has 176, I think cause she has 2 dks ones I cannot get.

Either way its brilliant and now her account is protect with my authenticator, she never had one added.

Anyway Im happy I have Drake of the South Wind now, hardly no-one has it, its from Alakir, very rare, we both farm Ony, my daughter with her farming partner long member of our guild, and myself with my fiance and my boxers, none have seen it yet and race is on for who get its first, she or I makes no diff as only one of us need it and we both get it!! way to go account wide achieves, its great, because my daughter and I were competiting agasint each other for achieves and mounts, I had achieves on her hands down, she had me on mounts, but she never had most of awesome ones until now.

Way to go Blizz great move with account wide stuffity stuff :)

He didnt say the character has to be on, he said the character has to "log on".

You have to log into every account, then probably even re-log into them to get the new mounts/achievements the others had during their log on. Then you can safely transfer the toon to a new account.

I added Valk and he added me, using battletag, we both saw each other online, after accepting the request and spoke briefly, then for both of us, each other disappeared out of our friends list, and we couldnt figure out why that was.

We already moved the account, didnt xfer any toon, just another account from bnet1, to my primary bnet, got blizzard on the phone and they moved the wow account to my primary bnet, and all achieves, mounts etc went through. 13700 achieve pts, 174 mounts :)

Yes I could not be happier with this change. No longer do I have to jump to my main toon every time I find a rare silver spawn, no more sending everything to my main to make sure he has it first before putting in AH.

Everything is just play whatever toon you enjoy the most. It makes me happy, like early morning cup of coffee type happy.

Definitely in regards to that coffee and everything else :)

Its great, we are not limited to mains, especially in a raid environment and if we cared about achieves... switch and change as needed, gear dependant of course, but overall, alts will be used so much more then ever before, especially for people with 1 account.

I wanted to raid now and then on my healer (but did not cause of achieves etc) which will be geared faster this xpac, main hunter 1st tho, so if and when a healer is needed I can ditch hunter, use healer and still get my achieves on my main.

That could explain some things. The other day I was on a flight path in dragon blight and _NPCScan goes off telling me Tukemuth is in the area. Once off the flight path I could no longer find him.

Yes, there will be.

Theres also a nice means you can use this for. Skinning in an area with respawns that take a bit... have 3-4 servers that are low pop that you want to farm at and cross realm into them by being partied with a 5th or 6th account that has a toon on that server.

not sure how and if this this still works but when i was trying it i could use any char even a level 1 on any server and it does not have to be in the zone your in. so u should use level 1's parked in goldshire or whatever. well it have to be level 10 to join a raid group

I know there's some bugs with achievements not combining, e.g Got my Mind on Money. One character has the achieve for 25k, another for 10k, but it only shows 10k on the 10k character. or 33k on the the 25 (which is how much that character was at pre patch)

There have been Chinese sites that have been selling 200+ mount "packages" since 5.0.4 hit. For $500, you could get practically every mount in the game including ultra rare and unobtainable ones (for example the Scarab Lord Mount).

What will not transfer with my character?


Your character’s quest log will be cleared completely.
Account-wide pets and mounts remain with the original Battle.net account.
Character friends and ignore lists will be reset.
User interface settings (macros, character-specific key bindings, etc...) will be reset.
Guild affiliation does not transfer (unless you perform a Guild Master Realm Transfer (http://www.battle.net/support/article/300496)).

Yes, I am happier with this setup. That way I see it the 2 on my other battle.net account are extras. If I ever decide to do less than 10, I'd probably drop those two first.

Also, since I have 8 on one battle.net account, those 8 can share mounts/achievements.

Just buy Alar off of the black market auction house ;). Last I had read, it was one of the items set to be sold. Should be interesting seeing what the first one sells for.

I just transferred one of my accounts on my 3rd bnet to my 2nd and it has all the mounts 8) so having a whole account moved to another bnet gets the mounts on the destination bnet!

They do it within 1 min. Normally you need a real reason other than "i want all my mounts" lol. Like consolidating everything to one login etc.

Did mine on page 2 of this topic, moved my kids account to my main bnet, got mounts she had that I did not and she got some awesome ones I had, she didnt, we are at 174 mounts, and around 13760 achieve pts :)

No reason was needed, just asked to move my other bnet to my main bnet, was done within a minute and all good to go!:cool:

I never called, i just opened a ticket on my 3rd bnet account and told them I would like to move the only active account I had left on that bnet to my more active bnet. One day later it was done.

Yes it does. I called in about an hour ago today and told them I wanted an old wow license I had used for boosting up to be moved to a battle.net account I rarely used so I could have more slots to RAF myself again. (Which was true as I had ran out of spaces.) I had activated a cata trial on the account before calling and made sure to log in a char to get the mounts and they transferred fine. None of the pets or pet battle training transferred.

WoW.. they did it for me. Did you go to your bnet account and make the ticket? or do a ticket in game? i did mine on the bnet site. The GMs in game can not do it. the CS people that respond to bnet account support tickets can.

edit: as I was typing this my account was moved (submitted second ticket for hell of it, in game.) however only half the mounts came with it.

They're all the same GMs. When you submit a ticket via the in-game menu it shows up in your BNet account.

The guys you call are customer sevice and are not GMs.. they are also who handle bnet tickets. If an issue is fixable in game than it is handeled in game by a GM. But they guys who move accounts around are higher up than GMs, and can get more done for you. Atleast this is what a CS told me when i called once apon a time.

I see what you are saying and I misinterpreted your post. We're both right in the sense that certain departments handle certain issues, but all tickets show up in your BNet regardless of how they were initiated.

I called up Blizzard earlier today.
The estimated wait time was 21 minutes.
The actual wait time was closer to 15 minutes.

I had my five B.Nets (each with one Warcraft account) consolidated onto my first B.Net email.
The one that has my Diablo, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, Starcraft and Starcraft 2.

They needed the last four digits of both the credit cards that had been used for monthly subscriptions.
The CS guy said, having all of the CD Keys would have been an option too (I have them all, but in Vancouver; I'm in Calgary for another couple of weeks still).
They needed the answer to the security question, and my address that was on the accounts.
All of the information was consistent on each B.Net.

I was on the phone with the guy for maybe 2-3 minutes.
And the transfer was done (able to log into the game with the one B.Net email) as soon as I got off of the phone.
It was 15 mins or so, before the other accounts showed up on my B.Net Account info (as in, log in from www.worldofwarcraft.com).





Prior to merging, each of my horde characters had the 100K achievement even though only the DK/Pally team earnt that many.
None of the ally teams had that achievement.
Vial of the Sands was available to all horde toons who could fly, but none of the Ally toons had the option (even though the mounts were bought on the Pally/4DK team, while they were still Alliance).
My Paladin (on the Pally/4DK team) did not have Wrecking Ball (being a healer).

After merging all the accounts onto the single B.Net, every toon on both factions/servers (Ally is Cenarius US & Horde is Magtheridon US) have the 100K achievement; I don't have 500K, even though each of the toons on the Pally/4DK team had 110K HK's each... also I had 30K+ HK's on three teams, in addition to the 110K on the main team from the last expansion... they essentially took the highest number and gave it to everyone, rather than combining the totals or unique totals.
Vial of the Sands is available to my Ally toons now too.
As is <Of the Alliance> titles.
Every toon has Wrecking Ball, on both factions.
The 25K Conquest Points (which were all earnt by the Pally/4DK team) has transferred to everyone on both factions/servers... as has the few Rated Battleground achieves I had.
The 1000 Dailies achievement has transferred to everyone, even though it was my Pally/Warlock/3x Elemental team that did that in WotLK.





I had planned on transferring 5x Paladins (B.Net 1 to B.Net 2, still on Magtheridon Horde), after getting to 90th on several teams on B.Net 1.
And then doing a set of RAF; would do the transfer after setting up the RAF... and have boosters...

I can still do that, but I don't think the 100K honor kills or the mounts will transfer anymore.

Having eight on one B.Net and two on another is something I've not thought of.
As is transfering an entire account to the new B.Net.

There's two separate Traveler's Tundra Mammoths, split by faction/race restricted.

My Alliance toon doesn't have it in her list either because I bought the Horde one, just like she doesn't have any of the other Horde-specific mounts, including things like the Sunreaver Dragonhawk (http://www.wowhead.com/item=46814) / Silver Covenant Hippogryph (http://www.wowhead.com/item=46813). You'd have to faction change to get the converted versions for the Horde.
