I never have that problem, but then again, I'm on sat, so my slaves are always behind me.

can you move your main slightly forward, and then hit follow?

I see you useing ISBoxer? I dont seem to have a problem with it. I know they are there, whether im riding a horse, or running, or flying... I use max zoomable angle anyway. Dunno, its never really bothered me. I kinda like knowing I can see if one drops formation, or also, I like knowing that I am a flyinb "V" coming to kill you!!

Increase camera distance? :D

Make sure you have your interface settings for max zoom out distance.

Increased camera distance + I always pull my camera up so I'm looking from above my leader, so the slaves are below me sort of.

I ditched my bronze drakes for smaller mounts like flying carpets, headless horseman's mount, flight form, and the standard wind rider. This helped when they would cover up quest givers as well.

Increasing the camera view distance helped as we.

I have this issue when I fly too.
My camera distance is maxed, and you will still have wings flapping and such.
Rather annoying.

I will double mouse button fly the main toon, until the team is pointed correctly.
Slaves on auto follow.
Once the direction is correct, I NumLock for auto run.
Then hold the Left button down, and change my camera angle slightly so I am looking down at my toon at a 30-45 degree angle.

That way, the slaves don't occupy my entire window with wings, etc.

lol i hate this too, i often times wonder if it'd be worth it to farm the rep in skettis and get the manta ray mounts or whatever they're called! lol they look so stupid with tauren on them tho lolol

I really never ever had this problem. I always play on max camera distance though. And i ride 4 proto drakes, who are somewhat smaller aswell. Don't recall it when having 4 bronze dragons either though.

Positioning your slaves to avoid flapping wings??? ---> wtf? :D

Increase camera distance? :D

This. I actually set up Octopus to write the SetCameraDistA/b/c/d variables so I have default camera views that are close-up and far-away to compensate for these various issues.

You can set your camera distance beyond the standard game one.

/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",30)

I believe 30 is the cap, you can decrease that number if you want.

I think 30 is the max for the UI set MaxDistance (Where you move the slider) I think 50 is max value.

/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",50)

You can go quite a bit past the UI Max camera distance.

Another great one is:
/console pitchlimit 99999999

Lets you fly upside down! (Other people see you as upside down too) Love that macro...

Slightly offtopic,..
I hardly ever have trouble with running/ground mount, but on flying mount with /follow I lose follow pretty often at the edge of zones/phases it seems and my slaves will not be visible on my mains account nad visa versa untill I pass this border. Once I go 20 yards over this border I am then visible again.

Since I am not visible I can not use follow, any idea how to get round this ? I've been hitting autorun then hammering follow again but it happens soo often in certain zones, it almost seems more efficient to just leave autorun on then correct the flightpath a bit every few mins :/

You want independent slave movement keys.
My arrow keys send movement instructions to the slaves, but not the active character.
Meanwhile my WASD send movement to the active character but not the slaves.

I use follow 99% of the time for movement.
But if you need the slaves to cross a phase line, hold the forward arrow for a few seconds.
Or that can be useful to have them move out of puddles of acid in instances too.

Yeah, thats what I mean, I have up/down arrow to only move on my slaves. Was hoping there was another way around this phasing :/

I tend to use ground mounts to get around this issue or the flight path gryfons

Australian latency means my slaves follow at a visual distance of over 40 yds.

I just push forward using the arrow keys when I'm coming up on a phaseline and let Jamba's follow strobing pick everyone up after the phase. It's just one of those things you learn to deal with and get used to.

For those of you like me that dont like using Jamba Strobe all the time. Scenerios that its essential are Phasing, Swimming, and Flying.

I don't use strobe ever, well haven't in forever anyway.

I have follow on a mouse thumb button, which I use frequently.
And then independent slave movement keys, to get them across a phase line (forward arrow, to continue moving in the same direction) and then hit normal follow again.

Pretty easy, if a bit annoying at the frequency of phase lines in some areas of the game.
